The Bylaws of the Trinidad and Tobago Amateur Radio League Inc (TTARL Inc)


A. The Board of Directors shall direct the management of the business and affairs of the Company and exercise the power of the Company directly and indirectly through the Management Committee or agents of the Company.

B. The Directors shall have the power to make, amend and repeal the bylaws of the Company.

C. Duties of the individual directors shall include responsibility for serving as committee chair persons and performing such other administrative and / or technical functions is assign.

2. Director of Finance

The TTARL Inc Director of Finance shall maintain a cash fund for unforeseen TTARL Inc expenses. Disbursements must be brought before the Management Committee and be approved, by Management Committee.

Director of Finance — shall be charged with the responsibility of caring for the physical property of the TTARL Inc, operation of the TTARL Inc repeaters, be responsible for keeping records of all TTARL Inc-owned real and personal property. This will include inventory, disposition, acquisition and location records of all said property. These records shall be available for examination on demand.


It shall be the duty of the Secretary to keep the constitution, the ByLaws of the TTARL Inc and Parliamentary Procedures Rules of Order and have the same at every meeting. The secretary shall cause all amendments, changes, and additions to be noted thereon and shall permit the same to be consulted by members upon request.


1.Applications for membership shall be submitted at a Management Committee meeting. Each applicant must express a willingness to abide by the Constitution and By-Laws and other rules promulgated by the TTARL Inc and obtain their amateur license within one year. Two-thirds of those Management Committee present shall approve the applicant before he / she shall be considered elected to membership.

2.TTARL Inc will have Free Membership To All Women, Youths Under Twenty Years Old (20), Pensioner and Retiree. To maintain such membership one must get validation at TTARL Inc Annual General Meeting (AGM) to enjoy free membership.


1.Regular membership meetings shall be held as needed at such place and time as the Executive Director shall order. Special meetings may be called by the Executive Director upon written request of any five TTARL Inc members. Notice shall be sent to members concerning special meetings and business to be transacted. Only such business as designated shall be transacted. Such notices shall be so sent via all TTARL Inc communication mechanism delivery they arrive not less than 24-hours before meeting time.

2 TTARL Inc bye-law shall govern all parliamentary procedures of TTARL Inc at regular, special, committee, board, man-com meetings and AGM.


1.A member shall stand when addressing the Chair.

2.A member shall address the meeting only when called by the Chair.

3.A member shall speak only on matters being discussed at that time on the agenda.

4.Speeches are to be clear and relevant to the subject being discussed.

5.A member shall cease speaking and sit when called upon by the Chair.

6.A member shall address the meeting only through the Chair.

7.A member shall not use obscene or any derogatory language during the meeting.

8.A member shall not impute improper motives against another member.

9.A member shall not make statements to bring the Trinidad and Tobago Amateur Radio League Inc (TTARL Inc) into disrepute.

10.This Annual General Meeting is open only to financial members.

11. The Chair reserves the right to deal with breaches of the Standing Orders

Annual dues assessed each year, as of Membership Anniversary Date, shall be TTD$20.00 per member.


The Executive Director of the Management Committee may solicit members to fill positions in TTARL Inc for TTARL Inc operational activities and any operating activities the TTARL Inc may desire.


A member may be expelled from membership in the TTARL Inc in the following manner.

1. Proposed expulsion of a member shall be openly discussed at a regular or special meeting and the reason for expulsion explained.

2. The Management Committee shall notify the affected member at least seven days in advance of the next regular scheduled meeting, at which time a vote of the Directors will be taken.

The ionosphere of the upper atmosphere, plays an important role in global communications. Ionized by solar radiation, this electricity can be used for the transmission of long wave communications, such as radio waves technical investigation into what impact is climate change having environmentally.


The winding up of the TTARL Inc, the TTARL Inc will, after paying or making provision for paying all its liabilities, all TTARL Inc assets will be donated to a chartable organization recognized and operated for the purposes of maintaining and furthering Amateur Radio, as determined by the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
